- Aramark is in the food-truck game with sandwiches at the Mobile Melt.
The Kansas City Chiefs are on the road tonight against the New England Patriots, which means that the Melt Mobile won't be rolling. As
Yahoo reports, the Melt Mobile is Aramark's take on the culinary trend of the year in Kansas City: food trucks.
"Food trucks have taken Kansas City by storm, giving way to Food Truck Festivals where multiple trucks gather together for a one- or two-day event," Aramark Executive Chef Erin Wishon told Yahoo. "So we wanted to bring that trend to our fans."

- The Melt Mobile is real.
The food truck, which launched on Sunday, November 6 (the Dolphins game), offers four sandwiches. The Melt (the signature sandwich hyped by Aramark last year that former editor Joe Tone
found to be "tender and delicious") is a short rib grilled cheese with onions, and white and havarti cheese on parmesan toast. The Big Jerk has spicy jerk chicken, pepper jack, pepper slaw and a rum pineapple sauce on coconut toast. The Frenchy is a fried egg topped with bacon cream cheese and applewood smoked bacon on Grand Marnier French toast. The PB S'More is peanut butter, Nutella, marshmallow fluff and applewood smoked bacon on Cinnamon Toast Crunch toast.
Fox 4 got a closer look earlier this month.
The Melt Mobile will be slinging sandwiches at the final three home games of the season: Pittsburgh (November 27), Green Bay (December 18) and Oakland (December 24). It will be parked at the Ford Fan Experience outside the Hy-Vee Gate.
