Spin has begun construction on a restaurant in Lenexa (9474 Renner) that is slated to open next year. Last week, a new location was announced for the Corinth Square Shopping Center at 8226 Mission in Prairie Village.
The first Spin opened in 2005 at 119th Street and Metcalf in Overland Park. Spin added locations in Olathe (14230 W. 119th St.), Kansas City, Missouri (4950 Main), and Lee's Summit (1808 D N.W. Chipman Rd.). The new Corinth Square location will have patio seating and a dining room that seats 100 people.
Spin serves wood-fired pizza, salads and gelato. The Olathe location is hosting a Tour d' Italia Wine Dinner on Tuesday, November 29, with seatings available between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. The four-course dinner features four wine pairings in a tribute to Sicily. The menu features dishes (like rosemary garlic oil broccolini and shrimp with fontina, oregano, tomato, sopressata, and calabrian pepper pizza) from chef Michael Smith, while the wine has been selected by Cellar Rat. Tickets are $39.50, which includes a $10 donation to Harvesters.

8226 Mission is the CVS. Does that mean the CVS is moving locations? (I had heard rumors that they wanted to move in to the old Perkins restaurant.)
40 HWY Fun House in Independence; opened february 1968, other originally-franchised locaction separately owned and opened earlier (Raytown and Sugar Creek - long-since closed). 40 HWY has sold the most pizza...
We eat at the Spin at 4950 Main fairly frequently and have no complaints other than that the joint is always jumping! The service is OK, considering it's an order-at-the-counter kind of place, drinks are served quickly, tables are cleared reasonably quickly, and the food is tasty. And their gelato is exquisite, although it's a hard sell with Glace just a couple of doors away!
I think you should check your facts. It is gas fired pizza not wood-fired. It is also not traditional Neapolitan but, hey, it is their right to be wrong on that one. Spin is a lot like Bagel and Bagel. Mediocre attempt at ethnic standards and poor service to go with it.
