What's been the best new addition to the Plaza?

The Plaza has a few new doors for you to walk through these days. Natasha's Mulberry & Mott has a pop-up holiday shop across from Zoom, which sells everything from macarons to tarts. Seasons 52 opened last month, dishing up their calorie-conscious grill fare. Gram & Dun, an American gastropub, will have been serving wild boar for two weeks next Tuesday. And Zocalo — the Mexican restaurant and cocktail bar — has been open for several months.

What's been the best new addition to the Plaza?

Gram & Dun by a landslide. Zocalo is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to and I dine out a lot. The layout is very cool, but the food and service are awful. What do you expect from Chris Ridler though? Sol is not very good either, it's basically their food being served on the Plaza with equally bad, rude service.

Zocalo wins for me, with such a wide variety of tequilas and cocktails I didn't expect such a delicious display of food to pair with. Our service was incredible, our server knew this history of several tequilas and helped recommend delicious meals! Can't wait to go back!

Had lunch at Seasons today. Food was good, service was just ok. I'm not a fan of servers who 1) don't write shit down and 2) come back 5 minutes later claiming to have a "brain fart" and can't remember what I ordered. Average age of fellow diners was about 70 and I really don't get the late-80s-lawfirm-chic decor.

Gosh, I really don't want to criticize new restaurants, but I must say we went to Zocalo and it was terrible, terrible, terrible food and bad service.
We happened to run into some good friends that night and they agreed, said it was horrible and would never go back. Such a disapointment. Did go to Seasons 52 another, later night and it was delicious and the server was very good.

Gram & Dun by far. what a great space and the food is delicious!
