Santa and pancakes are together again. Art Flea KC's final sale of the year is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 1522 Holmes. The breakfast, featuring Chris Cakes pancakes and Roasterie coffee, is from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and costs $8. There will be arts and crafts for sale, as well, priced from $1 to $50.
Always wanted to take your little four-legged one to meet Santa? Both pets and children are welcome to take a picture with Santa at Santa Paws, a benefit for the Humane Society of Greater KC, at 606 W. 48th St. Santa is there from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Event sponsor Three Dog Bakery will also be on hand to provide treats. Pictures cost $5.
Paris doesn’t have to be unobtainable. In fact, it doesn’t even have to be expensive. Chez Elle (1713 Summit) has a new prix fixe dinner special on Friday and Saturday nights: soup or salad, one savory and one sweet crepe, and a glass of wine for $25.
Today, 75th Street Brewery (520 West 75th Street) is tapping its XXX Mas Belgian Style Dubbel. It's a no-doubt winter warmer, spiced with ginger root, orange peel, nutmeg, coriander and cinnamon. There will be live bluegrass at the Waldo brewery beginning at 9 p.m. and growlers ($20) to take home.
