What are the best eats to receive when one is playing Santa?

I will say that being on the other end of the plate of cookies and glass of milk makes up for (spoiler alert) the fact that Santa is actually the head of the household. But truthfully, most Christmas cookies are forgettable, and milk isn't all that great when it's hovering around room temperature.

So because we can't encourage children to leave out bourbon, does anyone have any recommendations for what "Santa" should request for Christmas?

A plate of French macaroons from Natasha's Mullberry & Mott would be awesome with a side of awesome for this Santa
