For one night, the thing to order at RecordBar (1020 Westport Road) will be the tacos. Port Fonda is holding a pop-up at the Westport bar tonight from 6 p.m. to midnight (or until the food runs out). It's a sneak peek at potential menu items for Port Fonda's Westport restaurant in development (which will likely open this spring), one that will include fried oyster tacos and chilaquiles.

The menu for tonight's pop-up features a few of the recipes perfected in the Port Fonda's mobile kitchen, as well as a few new additions. There will be three tacos ($3 each) — carnitas (pork with salsa de guajillo, onions and cilantro), fried oyster (hot sauce mayo, salsa cruda and cilantro) and carne asada (beef with grilled onions, salsa roja and cilantro). You can add on a fried egg for $1.

In addition to the tacos, there will be chilaquiles ($5), pozole rojo ($5, pork, hominy, chile de ancho and "crunchy garnishes"), and torta ahogada ($7, beans, braised chuck roll, chile de arbol, pickled onions and cilantro). If you're a huge fan, Port Fonda will also be selling T-shirts for $20 (they're available on Etsy for those who can't make it tonight).
