The Big Biscuit is coming to Prairie Village

Posted by on Wed, Jan 4, 2012 at 9:50 AM

The Big Biscuit is getting, well, bigger.
  • The Big Biscuit.
  • The Big Biscuit is getting bigger.
Get ready to kiss your grits and butter your biscuits, Prairie Village. The Big Biscuit is coming. The Kansas City Star reported yesterday that the Big Biscuit Co. will be taking over the former Le Peep space at 5400 West 95th Street. Le Peep closed its doors after 15 months of operation, although there are still locations in Lenexa and Overland Park.

The Big Biscuit has three additional restaurants in Shawnee, Independence and Blue Springs. The breakfast and lunch space has a diner feel when it comes to the food — the kind of place where they leave your pot of coffee on the table, and the potatoes are country-fried. The portions are big, and breakfast is served all day. Le Peep's skillets weren't embraced in the space. Are you excited about the breakfast fare that the Big Biscuit will be dishing up?
