Are there any chains that rise above the fray?

Outside of free promotions and horrific combinations of bacon, cheese or fried everything, chain restaurants don't get a lot of play in this space. But that doesn't mean that they're not a part of our lives. Everyone has a soft spot for a given chain. A number of years in Boston have left me unable to break up with Dunkin' Donuts, despite empirical evidence that I like other coffee better.
For clarification purposes, let's define a chain as a restaurant group with at least one location in the area — the kind of establishment that sells chicken flingers and pizza-tizers. Is there one that you feel gets unfairly lumped in with all the others? In other words, one chain that gets you ... or you get?
