Should restaurants call out no-shows on Twitter?

Nothing irks chefs like wasted food. And while diners might point to oversized portions, chefs can point right back at a more likely cause, the "no-show," a reservation party that fails to materialize and never calls to cancel.

The Wall Street Journal writes about restaurants that are taking back their tables by attempting to publicly shame those who fail to show up for reservations. No-shows are outed on Twitter, a castigation that may be more deeply felt than a credit-card charge. But is it right?

Should a restaurant use social media to blast a diner who fails to dine with them?
