Murray's Ice Cream will open for the season on March 28

It's as much a rite of spring as the groundhog seeing its shadow — Murray's Ice Cream (4120 Pennsylvania) opens for its 28th season appropriately on Wednesday, March 28. The ice cream and cookie shop was part of our 50 favorite dishes for an ice cream and cookie sandwich that will have you wondering why you ever settled for a Chipwich.

Murray's is open from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, from noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. What's the best flavor that Murray's makes?
