Do you have small-plate fatigue?

In a reaction to the economy and the concept that we don't all need to eat like the Flintstones, restaurateurs seem to be shoehorning the idea of small plates into every concept. I wouldn't want to be a dishwasher at Barley's Brewhaus, which has micro plates, apps and small plates.
The Amateur Gourmet has had enough, writing a diatribe about how small plates are just a secret attack on our wallets and make for some awkward sharing. Are you over the small-plates trend or are you still excited to sample a bunch of dishes on a restaurant's menu?
