To the gentleman who has sat in the stands year after year and wondered when the Kansas City Royals were finally going to figure out that what baseball is missing is crab rangoon, I say this is your time. The home squad rolled out several new menu items this week at Kauffman Stadium, including the Urban Wok, which sells crab rangoon and spring rolls, among other Asian delights (white or brown rice paired with General Tso's chicken, beef with broccoli, orange chicken and sweet and sour pork) on the first-base line (Section 239).

Among the other new food options - Papa John's is now the official pizza of the Royals. You can get pizza or breadsticks at any of their four locations in the stadium. The Blue Moose has a sausage emporium in Rivals Express on the right-field side of the ballpark. The Boulevard Pub and two Boulevard Grill locations have opened. The KC Cantina Taco Truck will be parked out by the Outfield Experience and serving tacos, seafood quesadillas and churros. For drinkers, the Budweiser patio has opened on top of Rivals, and there's a new Captain Morgan bar behind Section 420.

For those looking for a food coma, the Cheesy Corn Brisket-acho is at the filling intersection of barbecue and nachos. It's tortilla chips covered with brisket, baked beans, cheesy corn, coleslaw and barbecue sauce. If you require something a bit more medieval, turkey legs are also available.
