Blanc Burgers + Bottles has closed its Omaha location

Omaha residents will have a much farther drive if they want to get a burger with Kansas City flair. The Omaha World-Herald reported today that Blanc Burgers + Bottles has closed its Omaha location at the Midtown Crossing development

"As much as I love Omaha, we didn't see the same volume there as we see in Kansas," owner Ernesto Peralta told the OWH.

Blanc opened in Omaha in January 2011, a few weeks after shuttering its outpost in Lee's Summit, known as B:2 A Burger Boutique. The Mission Farms and Plaza locations will remain open.
