They will start queuing up for barbecue in Leawood on Thursday, July 5. That's when
Oklahoma Joe's opens its third location - the one that co-owner Jeff Stehney pronounced as his last in the
cover story on Oklahoma Joe's two weeks ago - at 11723 Roe in a former T.G.I. Friday's.
The recipe is the same in the 7,000-square-foot restaurant. You'll order at a counter and then have your choice of a booth or a table. This is the first Oklahoma Joe's with a patio, and there's also a long communal table to the left of the front door. The Leawood location is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It's closed on Sundays (as are all of the Oklahoma Joe's locations).
