Longboards has brought a touch of the Pacific to Liberty. The wrap and noodle bowl shop in Gladstone (6269 North Oak Trafficway) has expanded with a new location at 1173 West Kansas Street. Last month, Fat City wrote about how they're restoring the wrap to its rightful place in the sandwich pantheon courtesy of tasty pockets like the Cabo Beef and Thai Chicken.

Longboards bills itself as a Pacific-style deli with Hawaiian, Thai and Filipino influences on the menu. Save room for some shaved ice or the Halo-Halo made with sweet beans, lychee, jackfruit coconut, brown sugar and milk. The shop is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
