Which fry cut is the best cut?

Not all starches are created equally. And today's myriad uses for the potato have me feeling like Forrest Gump listening to Bubba
talk about shrimp.
In the past week, I've been taking folks on a de facto barbecue tour and, in the process, I've had waffle fries, sweet-potato sticks, steak fries, potato wedges, hand-cut fries, and thin potato sticks. Each has a best iteration that is worthy of your time. What I'm asking for is ostensibly the best in the fry show — which cut is the best french-fry cut?
