Waldo has a wine bar again. Louie's Wine Dive (7100 Wornall), an import from Des Moines, Iowa, opened last week in the spot that previously belonged to Cantina del Ray (Charles Ferruzza reported in August on its closing and relocation to Mike's Tavern as Cantina del Chef) and Swizzle Martini & Wine Bistro.

Every wine on the menu is available by the glass, the food is 'gourmet comfort' (think lobster poutine, cheese flights and four pork gnocchi) and they'll be serving Saturday and Sunday brunch. Louie's is open from 4 to 11 p.m. Mondays, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
