Genghis Grill closes in Overland Park

A guilty pleasure for vegetarians (and carnivores) has closed in Overland Park. The Genghis Grill location at 6357 W. 119th St. shuttered last week.

The Mongolian Stir Fry chain has found hard times in Kansas City the past year. The Genghis Grill in the Power & Light District (1345 Main) closed last October after two years of operation. The Overland Park location in the Fountains Shopping Center opened after the downtown restaurant left the P&L.

Sadly, GenghisGrillTV - the interactive television concept from the fast casual chain - appears to have left this Earth, as well.
