The new restaurant can seat 100 people in the dining room and 60 more at the bar. The old space (featured in 2010 on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) sat 48 people in a building that was a bit over 3,000 square feet (the size of the new kitchen alone). There are also a second-floor patio with views of downtown Kansas City and garage doors that can be rolled up when the weather is nicer. With a covered band stand, Smokin' Guns plans to have live music events in the future. The old space is being torn down for additional parking.
The new restaurant is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
