Chick-fil-A is now open in Mission

The inexorable pull toward national chains continues for Mission as Chick-fil-A opened November 29 at 6039 Metcalf in the Mission Crossing development. A Fat City reader saw the new location off U.S. 69 and wondered when it began serving waffle fries and chicken sandwiches.

Mission Crossing is now a chicken mecca with Culver's recently arriving at 6005 Metcalf and Freebirds opening its first area spot there last summer. The new Chick-fil-A is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
