Relish this time, Kansas City. The Oscar Mayer Weinermobile is in town for the next four days. "Deli" Elito Pattee wrote to inform me that he and "Cookout" Kelly Goldthorpe (a Mizzou grad for those wondering what happens when you leave Columbia) are on tour as part of the 25th class of "Hotdoggers" (Oscar Mayer's term for those who pilot the tubular vehicle). At each stop, they share hot-dog puns (see the first sentence), take pictures and give out free Weinerwhistles.

Today, the Weinermobile is at the Price Chopper at 500 N.E. Barry Road from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 97171 N. Ash Avenue from 2 to 5 p.m. The hot-dog mobile moves on to Belton and Parkville Friday with stops at the Price Choppers at 109 N. Cedar (Belton) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 9107 N.W. 45 Highway (Parkville).

On Saturday, the world's largest food truck is in Overland Park at 7000 W. 75th Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 8686 Antioch from 2 to 5 p.m. It heads back across the state line on Sunday. It will be parked at South 7 Highway in Blue Springs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4201 S. Noland Road from 2 to 5 p.m.
