Re: “Buffalo Creek Winery

Sorry you had such a bad experience. I am sure the owners were most likely away and if they had been there, you never would have been treated the way you were.

The owners are very nice, friendly and if you get there near to closing, they will still pick you up and be very cordial. I have been there many times over a lot of years. They have music once in a while during the summer and it is fun to sit out with your wine and listen. (And even join in.) Great way to spend an afternoon at the lake. I vote for it and hope you will give Buffalo Creek Winery another try next summer!
You will enjoy it and want to go back again.

Re: “The Scene KC Rock Bar

I guess if your "Scene" is felons and parolees then this place is for you. Owner's crazy father runs around badgering customers. Music is cool though.

Re: “KC Grill N Kabob

If only I could rate at 0 stars. We visited KC grill and Kabob for the first time and last time this Friday. When we were seated we were asked if we would like the buffet or would like to order off the menu. We asked to take a look at the menu where we saw the buffet was priced at $9. Thinking this was a great deal we opted for the buffet. When we got our check we were each charged $12. When I asked our server about the discrepancy she said she would bring back the menu to show me I was mistaken. When she returned the menu the buffet was priced at $9 clear as day but she still refused to fix the ticket. I then asked to speak to the manager who again insisted that I was wrong despite the menu being right in front of us both. This establishment is brazen enough to overcharge you then refuse to correct the mistake when you point out that his menu priced your food about 35% less than what you are being charged. Ultimately I was forced to pay the overpriced bill and I'm currently disputing the charges with my credit card company. A picture of the menu is here judge for yourself: http://a3.urbancdn.com/w/s/PB/8jRfaG2yZgN7hN-640m.jpg

Re: “Arthur's Lounge

Shows favoritism for the regulars. After reading good reviews I brought 8 of my friends to sit there for over three hours, watching regulars singing two songs, before we were called. I was cut off before my song ended as retribution for complaining. Will be taking my friends to Bo Jo. They don't show favoritism

Re: “Nick and Jake’s

The best parts are the friendly staff, good basic food, well managed by staff, and being more than a sports bar. This may lift the curse of the location, especially with the influx of added population and more demand across the street. There has a cozy neighborhood feeling without needing the hype to make it seem that way.
