Re: “The Ultimate Warrior died Tuesday

Very well said, Justin. I penned my piece on Warrior late yesterday, and it's been very enjoyable reading the varying perspectives of everyone else who has written. All coming from different places, yet all having a lot in common.

Re: “Missouri House representative thinks getting an abortion is like kicking the tires on a new car

Equal Rights, and equal protections of the father are non-existent in the abortion debate.

Give the father abortion rights in the context that taking the pregnancy to term would cause "extreme mental health" distress of the father. Remember, folks. That clump of parasitic cells is 50% him.

Only then will the debate about abortion come to an end. It is murder.

Or does equal rights, and equal protections only apply to gay people, and women?

Re: “Missouri House representative thinks getting an abortion is like kicking the tires on a new car

Considering the job market kinda sucks now, I'd think about running for state congress. One of the only things holding me back would be having to maintain decorum around these stupid, self-righteous assholes like Chuck Gatschenberger. The way he waffles between calling an abortion "murder" and comparing it to buying a car? He's not even trying to pretend he's not a stupid bastard. The fact that he and his corrupt ilk maintain the monopoly on taxation and lawmaking for the state of Missouri makes my stomach churn.

Re: “Saturday night, Center of the City popped off at Vandals

Hey punk scene. Journalism is subjective and everyone has opinions. Nick Spacey is a pillar for KC punk rock for years. Is it maybe possible that you're so scene-cetric that you can't admit that maybe some of the bands are just ok and aren't extremely original or cutting edge? I mean thats punk right? I think the article was fair, but opinionated.

I think if you keep your bitching you'll isolate yourself to the point where NO BODY wants to review your fest because all you do is complain. We're pretty lucky to have a newspaper that is trying to get it right. But you can't shank the guy for giving his honest, not spiteful or malicious opinion.

Re: “Astonishingly efficient Kansas personal-care attendant bills Medicaid for 39 hours in a single day

Fun Fact:

Obamacare EXPANDS Medicaid, reduces the threshold for qualified applicants, and basically eliminates any proof requirements of need. So... Thank you for voting Obama back into office. You just screwed yourself, (and the rest of us).

Also....
How many people like paying more taxes? Can I get a raise of the hands? ...
THIS is what government oversight looks like. THIS is where your taxes go.

Your Welcome. :-)

This message is coming to you from,
Your local McCain/Palin '08, Romney/Ryan '12 voter.

Re: “The Ultimate Warrior died Tuesday

Well written ... thanks for the great tribute. I grew up with him and many others and was shocked when my son came upstairs from watching the WWE Network and told me he was gone. RIP Warrior ... you will be missed by many fans, young and old.

Pretty goddamned brazen. How could she have thought she'd get away with this?

Re: “Astonishingly efficient Kansas personal-care attendant bills Medicaid for 39 hours in a single day

If she's defrauding the system and gets caught, that's great, but jumping to conclusions is frivolous and irresponsible. The explanation could be as simple as she has employees and operates as a sole proprietor, which would explain every contradiction listed in the article. Doctors do this all the time, doing the billing for an entire practice under a single doctor's name, despite the fact there maybe four or more doctors in a practice and a couple dozen employees. Context is important. If she is defrauding the system, they should throw the book at her. However, nothing that is stated in the story indicates fraud unless it is confirmed she provided all services herself and had no employees.

You're all idiots for arguing about the use of the word midtown.

There were bands outside the hipster and hip hop realm too April. Break out of your comfort zone and make your magazine relevant.

Re: “Saturday night, Center of the City popped off at Vandals

"The Bad Ideas are a force with which to be reckoned. These four are the snotty, audience-rallying inheritors of the Sister Mary Rotten Crotch crown."

Um, have you ever even seen Sister Mary?
Do you realize that SMRC would THROTTLE the Bad Ideas in a back to back line up, or anywhere else for that matter? I mean destroy them.
Inherit SMRC's crown? Really? Idiot.

That is just one example of how crappy this entire "story" is. There are too many for me to bother to list.
This entire article was poorly written. I have seen high school writing that was better than this. Is the Pitch using interns to do their reviews now? Do they not want to pay for real writers?
This paper, that used to be pretty cool, is now irrelevant. Waste of fucking trees.
No wonder Inc Magazine is so much more popular.

All their branding seems to point to it being one word. Just thought you should give that a check.
