What Sean says is true. It was a thrilling and drama filled win no less, but the Pitch needs to get the facts straight.
So you win Best Coach by inheriting the previous coach's good recruits AND losing in the 1st round of the NCAA tournament? What if he had lost the best starters on the team one year and the next year only lost the National Title by 8 pts?

Will Moose and HOs and I guess Duffy ( jury still out) become "royalized" in to playing down to town and crowd accepted mediocrity and get stuck in that mind set for the future? Finally with Lamb out to pasture and Montgomery becoming a 3-4 aaa wonder...is there a future in the pitching staff

Actually jimmie you may want to check your facts. There are people on the qualified list that have never stepped into a lees summit bar. And secondly those bars you speak of didn't pay and the players are still getting to play. Just because you didn't qualify doesn't mean others didn't as well.
