Re: “It took the feds to come down on the Wyandotte County sheriff's son

D.A. Gorman is a constant Liar! The ole saying "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" would apply here. Justin Ash is a scumbag just like his sheriff daddy. To think the sheriff didn't ask for favors is unrealistic. Of course he did, and they were granted. This cycle of crap has to be frustrating to the working street cops who work hard to get this piece of shit in jail. Then the big wigs throw it all out and site erroneous info to justify their corrupt actions. Bullshit alert, "Maybe a couple guys in a stolen vehicle blaming it on the other," Gorman says. "Nobody could say, or would say, who stole it." It's called possession of stolen property at minimum right Gorman?? The criminals running this city & county always know how to weasel out of things and not get in trouble. Maybe old chief miller was helping and advising donnie ash how to throw his weight around. miller is ash's mentor and the marshal now. They're all scumbags!

Re: “It took the feds to come down on the Wyandotte County sheriff's son

Dustin is my ex-husband and I can GUARANTEE to u that Mr. Don Ash has NEVER used his "position" to get his son out of ANYTHING! In all honesty... He actually has turned him in before! So, why all of u want to make accusation, u might wanna get the FACTS before u start runnin ur mouth about Sheriff Don Ash. He is a great guy & deserves credit for NOT helping his son out!

Re: “It took the feds to come down on the Wyandotte County sheriff's son

Another thing that is a FACT, is Don Ash did nothing at all to help me get out of jail, prior to me getting picked up, he did listen to my situation, and did advise me on the fact that while it might be a very bad judgement call on my behalf, I would have to go through the process of the court to figure it out, and that is exactly what I did. I have known Dustin for as long as I've been with my wife, 8 years, and while he has been making a lot of bad choices in the real recent past, I have never known of his father Don Ash to ever use his position to assist him in his criminal matters.

Would it have been the same if he had been black? You knew someone was going to mention it and rightly so. He might have gotten by a few but I'm pretty sure he would not have gotten away this many times.

Glad this thug is behind bars. He deserves a hard ten for all of this.

Well Don ash is good at letting criminal also out of jail Chad king who is one of Dustin ash's friend was booked into wyco jail on violation so of not registering as a sex offender for over 4 years had 75,000 dollar bond and he was released on signature bond for failure to register now who gets out of jail on a agreement to show up to court who hasn't even registered in years our sheriff's department and police department and govt. Offices are so corrupt not even funny bad when people who have committed lesser crimes are still sitting in jail with 1,000 dollars bond and can't get out SHERIFF ASH MUST ONLY SUPPORT AND HELP LOCAL TWEEKERS

This doesn't sound like law enforcement's fault at all. The prosecutor is to blame for not pursuing. I understand a first offense being tossed, but this guy has a serious rap sheet.

This is why law enforcement is not trusted in this community. I dont trust or fool with Wyandotte county AT ALL. They are screening and checking backgrounds for assistance and jobs. But fail to evaluate those who are put in positions to uphold the law.

Re: “Bradyn Fuksa flees a theft charge and disappears in Wyoming

Looks like his guilt led to suicide by gun. I didn't know him but when you're that age, certain mistakes can seem overwhelming, out of proportion to how you'd see them as you matured. Too bad he didn't get a second chance to see that life can forgive smaller errors in judgement. You can't know then what you might know later, and sometimes nobody explains it to you. This was a sad tale of misdirected fate. R.I.P.
