From the Fringe Festival web site: "7/22- Words, Music and Movement with Miss Conception, Kevin Hiatt, In the spirit of true collaboration two Kansas City based performers: Miss Conception (spoken word/hoop movement)and Kevin Hiatt(instrumental acoustic guitarist/singer-song writer) will present a duo show on July 22nd. Combining their unique creative talents Miss Conception and Kevin Hiatt will present a show that explores the potential intersections of words, music and movement. 7/30 - Dead Poet Society with Sharon Eiker, Kevin Hiatt & David Hughes Acoustic guitarist and songwriter Kevin Hiatt will serve as host for an evening of collaborative performances with poet and spoken word artists Sharon Eiker and David Hughes. Sharon and David are both published poets that have been active readers and performers with The Writer's Place for several years. Kevin Hiatt will provide sonic soundscapes on 6,7,12 string and baritone acoustic guitars. The show will include a re-interpreted version of The Doors song 'The End' with new lyrics by Eiker and Hughes."
