My husband and I have seen Steve Lambert play twice now and he has blown our mind both times! Horn playing at its absolute finest! This kid is so freaking talented!
A must-see documentary by New York filmmaker Joan Grossman that celebrates the first artists' community that started in Kansas and became an icon for a global counterculture. An inspiring vision of what it really means to "think different" and follow your dreams.
this show is NOT tonight, it's saturday the 6th. just FYI.
Thought provoking, disturbing (in the very best way) and uplifting. So grateful for this show.
This show has been moved to October 19th.
We love the happy hour. And very kid-friendly.
Dragon's Lair, Dig Dug, Centipede...wow! There are around 35-40 original stand up video games from the early 80's. I haven't seen an arcade like this since I was a kid. $5 unlimited play easily makes this the best value during Santa Caligon.
Candice Hill Trio is also playing saturday night.
Good Times at Crypticon! Good People!
Played Crypticon 2011, had a blast

This place needs help. I went in for dinner after seeing a local advertisement, thinking I was in for a treat. Overpriced drinks, rude server. and the food was just as disappointing. I ordered a starter plate called the 6-pack.....it tasted like it was days old...limp not crunchy vegetables....Flatbread pizza was good....pork sandwich had stale bread, tasteless dry pork, and a sorry excuse for a BBQ sauce that tasted like they tried to copy Gates. Big waste of money.
ECO was amazing! Playing a nice long set and making the most of less than ideal acoustics. This was the first time I'd seen these ladies play, and they were awesome.
I love this group! They go off the audience suggestions, and it is hilarious! My favorite is the Good Advice / Bad Advice game!
soulful and original for once !, new music. Great originals ,outstanding guitar !!!, and a very nice voice .
she is here to stay and go big time , hope she gets a chance .
most listen to,if you get a chance , highly recommended .
The BARCENTRAL is a joke. The food is lame at best. Calamari was embarassing, greasy, chewy, breading falling off. The soup of the day tasted old and stale. The pulled pork tasted like a freezer and was dry. Mini rueben----Nothing more than an average rueben cut into 4 pieces....oh and 7 dollars for a warm gas station pretzel--you can get the same pretzel at a movie theater.....looks like they hired their chef from a bowling alley.
I agree with the first reviewer. Pat T and Farner were awesome, but Shooting Star was just amazing!! True, they had better lights, etc. as they WERE the headliner. But sounded just flat out good! Not that Pat and Farner didn't either. Shooting Star took it do a new level. Maybe it was because they were shooting for the new DVD that night? Good show guys!
@chris tilton ----sorry i gotta disagree with you. Shooting star just had the benefit of more lights and smoke and other special effects. BOA , Pat Travers, and Mark Farner actually rocked and gave the crowd its moneys worth. I had back stage passes to this show and in my opinion Shooting Star epitomizes every thing that was cheesy about 70s rock, but the other bands on the bill actually surprised me with their muscianship and dedication to their craft.
