This band, the Lower 48 is one of my FAVORITE things about Portland, Oregon. Their sound is incredibly addictive and their energy gets the serious PDX crowds seriously moving. This show is not to be missed in any city they play!

This was the first time for me to see Hearts Of Darkness. I have been missing out! Their concert Saturday was off the hook. They are amazing live. 14 piece band with so much going on. It is a site to behold. I see why the place was packed at Knuckleheads!
Katastro and Pacific Dub were great Tuesaday night. Katastro has such an orginal style. Ryan Weddle's bass lines are hypnotic along with the rest of the band. Pacific Dub's Bryce Klemer is one of the up and coming lead guitarists. This guy can really play. I saw these guys with Tomorrows Bad Seeds this past winter and the band has really jelled! Don't miss these guys the next time they come through.
American Dischord has one killer show! very tight group, caught them on first Fridays earlier. Worth checking out.

Show was great! Should of been more people there, all those acts went hard, I loved the live guitar at the end. Keep doin it!
What an epic show. Shadow is still an awesome freestyler and DrDilznik and Last Rekcrute ripped it up with a live guitar player even. I would definitely go check out those dudes again if and when they perform live again in KC.
