Re: “Choga Korean Restaurant

What an experience. The food was ok but had a shocking experience with the food, service, and owner's lack of acknowledgement. We ordered potato stew for party of two and when we started eating it we noticed we only had only a single potato. We asked the waitress and she said they ran out so only was able to put only a single potato. We asked why if you had only one potato they let us order it without letting us know that. The shocker was they offered no other option and charged us a full price even thought it was clear we stopped eating it. We were sitting right next to the owner and were sure she knew what happened but she offer no apologies and just sat there doing best to ignore us. We will never return to such heartless and non customer friendly place and we recommend all of you to do the same.

Re: “Choga Korean Restaurant

Worse customer service ever. Went there to eat and had terrible customer service. Only brought out 2 glasses of water for 4 of us. Never ask us if we wanted additional glasses for our 2 kids. They ended up drinking out of ours. After bringing us our food she never ask us if we wanted anything else. She brought us our check in the middle of us eating. She started clearing our table when we weren't finish eating. Feel like she wanted us out. We left her 15%(even though the service is bad) tip base on the before tax amount. My wife took one of the kids to the restroom, the waitress came to me and said "you should tip at least 15%. You so cheap." I should ask for the ticket back and wrote zero, but I was shock that she would said something "BS" like this even though she received 15%. I told my wife what happen in the car. My wife called to complain to the manager but she answer the phone and said she was the manager. My wife asked for her name and she said "Jenny". She is a middle aged lady who speak very heavy accent. Beware of her if you go there.

Re: “Choga Korean Restaurant

I went to lunch on a Friday, and the place was jammed, but with only two servers who really weren't prepared for such a big crowd. Aside from the service, I was very disappointed with the food, which surprisingly wasn't very authentic. I'm a Korean from Central Asia, so maybe our style is slightly different, but my lunch was mostly bland and not spicy overall. I was really looking forward to the blood sausage (soondae), but it did not meet my expectations. It's not how it was portrayed in the recent Pitch review.
