Re: “Chop Tops Hair Company

BEWARE!!!! Less than Two Weeks before my wedding they told me they couldn’t do my hair or my bridesmaids hair.... and they did it through an EMAIL!!!
Now--about a week before my wedding --- After I had already spending more than $200 on my pre wedding appointments--
NOW after all that time I spent discussion and emailing the styles about what was suppose to happen on the day of the wedding day...Well --IT”S ALL DOWN THE DRAIN...NOW I have to find someone else to do the wedding hair and makeup... did I mention they cancelled it through EMAIL!
I thought I had a verb agreement with them but that didn’t matter, we even narrowed down a time around 9- or 9:30. I even had another appointment scheduled with them the Monday before my wedding.
If the deposit was so important to them-- then WHY --did they not ask for the deposit during the more an five hours I had spent there during the two separate pre wedding appointments?
Did they get it then? NO!!!....did they hand me paperwork to fill out while I was there ? NO!! They sent it...two weeks before the wedding. Now less than 10 days before my wedding I have to find another hair dresser--I have never been so OUTRAGED! If you are bride beware. They promise a lot take your pre wedding money and but don’t deliver in the end!!!!!

Re: “The Fountains at Lindenwoods

I've lived in California, Florida, Atlanta and several places in between... and this place is BY FAR the worst that I've rented. The complex is very cheaply made, making it seem as though you're living in a poorly built house rather than a "brick" building. I can literally hear when my upstairs neighbor LAUGH! It's insanity. I rent as a couple, no children, yet they placed me under a kid with a kid... smh! The lease agreement is super shiesty, too, where they cover their own ass-ets very well, to say the least. I had to make a hasty move and made the worst choice possible. Currently seeking legal advice to find a way to get out of this nightmare, so don't end up in my shoes!

Re: “Afrikan Centered Collegium Campus

The lower campus is great. Once your child reaches middle school it goes down! They treat the kids like they are in military. They aren't allowed to talk to each other, and the emphasize more on what the kids being "dressed for success" which is a front. They not worried about the kids education at all.

Re: “Envolve Boutique

Loved the clothes but after I shopped here I went to Charming Charlie's and found the exact same clothes for half the price. Definitely start at Charming Charlie's first! Your money will go a lot further!

Re: “Clint's Comics

TERRIBLE SERVICE, VERY RUDE!!! went in to get magic cards... every time we asked a question we got a rude response... Clint had a very bad attitude! In response to the way he was acting i proceeded to tell him (yes, tell...not yell) that he was not acting very nice nor very business-like. He proceeded to follow me out of the store and yell at me " fu*% you, fu*& you BIT*@ .... yes, unbelievable!!! but this is what he said!!! I was shocked... I will never go back and wouldnt recommend anyone else to!!! I would never support this kansas city business!!!

Re: “Celtic Property Management

Do not rent from these people. Their maintenance is awful. Nothing ever gets done right. Truly terrible experience with them so far, and it's only been a few weeks.

Re: “KC Rep, Copaken Stage

A very poor show. How could a theater with as many professional directors and producers put out something this lame? Hey, ever heard of a thing called a "plot"? I doubt this script would have earned more than and "C-" in scriptwriting 101. The actors though do a good job and should get a medal for trying to breathe life into such a poorly written production. It is sad that the Rep would put out such a crappy show as a signature production.

Re: “Rick West Theater

As far as I am concerned the Rick West show is one of the worst so called "professional Shows" in Kansas City. I don't know how long it has been since Rick West has picked up a guitar in Branson, but his show is far from being on par with any of the contemporary entertainers i have seen in southern, MO. West's show is absolutely unprofessional. There are players making mistakes, singers who can't hold a tune, a sound woman who needs to get a real job and repetitive incidents of West bossing people around in the middle of shows, adjusting and directing the sound person and lighting requests. If you want to see how it isn't supposed to be done this is the show for you. I will only take you one trip to the Rick West Theater to get what I am communicating. If you would rather get some value for your ticket price you might check out some other class night clubs or venues in the KC area. This is one place the train wont be stopping.

Re: “The Edge of Hell

AVOID AVOID AVOID Two employees hurled F-BOMBS flagrantly right in our face, as our 9yr. old child looked on. The edge of hell is not a family atmosphere, better to leave the kiddies out on this one, unless you too want to pay to have these unprofessional vulgar losers use profanity in front of your family. Management refused to offer a requested refund, and instead proffered an insincere weak, lame apology. Take the high road, and do not patronize this gutter lowlife business, what a truly "hellish" experience , and we had to pay $116.00 for this? Please seek out a morefamily suitable halloween outing for your small children, if you can, just my personal recommendation, thank-you.

Re: “Bynum Winery

The owner of this winery is a very bitter and foul old man. We arrived at his place of business 30 minutes prior to opening. I let my dog out on her leash to stretch her legs because we'd been driving awhile. He drove up in his truck and told us to get off his property. I explained we were there to do business and he said he didn't want our business and again told us to get off his property. The winery itself is in a rundown old gas station and what part of the vinyard I could see was very ill-tended having been overrun with weeds.

Re: “The Beast

Horrible!!! I accidently touched one of the actors at the Beast and he followed me around the house verbally assaulting me and taunting me for almost fifteen minutes, then he got other actors to physically stop my movement through the house so they could threaten me. A manager was finally notified and made them stop but it completely ruined the whole time for me and my group. their actors are pyscho, don't go unless you want to be assaulted.

Re: “Bacchanalia

Place is pretty nice looking, bad location and very odd to get into. Service and food are horrible. Not a very professional ran venue and very overpriced for what you get. We should have looked around more before booking this place.
