Re: “Chop Tops Hair Company

BEWARE!!!! Less than Two Weeks before my wedding they told me they couldn’t do my hair or my bridesmaids hair.... and they did it through an EMAIL!!!
Now--about a week before my wedding --- After I had already spending more than $200 on my pre wedding appointments--
NOW after all that time I spent discussion and emailing the styles about what was suppose to happen on the day of the wedding day...Well --IT”S ALL DOWN THE DRAIN...NOW I have to find someone else to do the wedding hair and makeup... did I mention they cancelled it through EMAIL!
I thought I had a verb agreement with them but that didn’t matter, we even narrowed down a time around 9- or 9:30. I even had another appointment scheduled with them the Monday before my wedding.
If the deposit was so important to them-- then WHY --did they not ask for the deposit during the more an five hours I had spent there during the two separate pre wedding appointments?
Did they get it then? NO!!!....did they hand me paperwork to fill out while I was there ? NO!! They sent it...two weeks before the wedding. Now less than 10 days before my wedding I have to find another hair dresser--I have never been so OUTRAGED! If you are bride beware. They promise a lot take your pre wedding money and but don’t deliver in the end!!!!!

Re: “Sherlock's Underground Coffeehouse & Pub

Nobody's Bidnis wants to thank all of our friends that came out and joined us at Sherlock's Underground last night. We had a great time! I just wanted to give a well deserved shout out to Bill, the owner of Sherlock's. It's located in Liberty, MO at 291 and Brown street next to Price Chopper and Sutherland's Lumber. He's taken this hole in the wall, made it into a BEAUTIFUL place with a GREAT atmosphere and , now, he's recently partnered with Big Willie who's a BAD-ASS back in the kitchen making some of the BEST smoked meats and BBQ I've EVER tasted! Those who know me know I'm a foodie and I don't give high praise easily, especially for BBQ...but WOW! (Wille, are you married? ;-) )

After the first smoked and perfectly seasoned drummie I wanted to sit out and eat all night!! I made sure to order extra to take home and I'm just counting the minutes until lunchtime so I can tear into it.....yum! Other friends tried their smoked turkey sandwich and the "Big Willie" which consisted of TWO buns, pulled pork, beans (to die for) and slaw and both got RAVE reviews. To make it even better..the prices were VERY reasonable. All I can say is Big Willie sure knows how to give out the big "O" when it comes to BBQ! (I'm serious Willie-call me! ;-O )

Sherlock's = Great atmosphere, Hot Blues and FANTASTIC food!! A home run combo in my book. BTW....Bill also takes care of his smokers with a really nice patio with a warm, enclosed area for the winter time. Thanks again Bill for a great evening! You're doing EVERYTHING right. North of the river, it's THE place to go!

Re: “The Uptown Arts Bar

This is gem of a spot in a reviving neighborhood. This bar features a wide selection of drinks including an expansive list of cocktails. The food is top-rate and they spare no expense on ingredients from the chips & salsa to the grilled paninis and their specialty pizzas on artisan flat-bread. The back of the club is a wonderful, intimate space used for music, poetry, comedy and just about any other kind of performing art there is. There is a huge emphasis on promoting local talented artists (including the art hanging on the walls). They also have an upstairs bar available for events and the balcony allows you to enjoy a smoke without missing out on the music.

Re: “Rick West Theater

So did Rick write the "Best show in town. Rick rocks!" review? Five stars, you can't be serious. He has always been a wanna be and will always be one. He knows nothing about entertaining and tries to convince others that he has a great career. He has broken all chances of ever working with the upper quality musicians and entertainers and now tries to find inexperienced people who don't know him and convince them he is someone great who is about to make it really big. A great example of no talent.

Re: “Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

Journey through rivers and landscapes and Rodin shows at Nelson are killer. I have not seen better at the Nelson in decades.

Re: “Rick West Theater

I know a few people who did work at the Rick West theater and were promised to be paid but never were. He has a long list of this occuring, from wait staff to contracters who all did the work and were never paid. He always wants something for free with the promise that great things will come if they wait but he is so terrible at buisness it never does. He also is a pervert so there's that too.

Re: “Rick West Theater

Might I also add no one I know who has dealt with Rick West has any good to say about him. Local country legends and folks in Branson don't know him, and want to keep it that way.
If he was so damn talented he'd made it already instead of trying to "Get the show off the ground" for the last 5-6 years.

Re: “Rick West Theater

This is a terrible thing and should not even be considered entertainment.
This man is shady and a snake, and has no right telling other musicians how to play.
I earned a CMA award for top musicians and will never work with this man.
