I love to go grab lunch from this place. It's a non-chain and family runs another restraunt in Chicago I believe. The waiter who is always there knows me and my sister by name and our drink of choice and that we always start with the thai spring rolls. I wouldn't even say the price is at $$, it is very reasonable given what you get.
The thai spring rolls are my favorite thing. For $3 I beleive you get 2 large rolls. The thai iced coffee or the thai iced tea is a must. I usually get the Tom Kar soup which is very flavorful and wonderful for winter time. The seafood pad thai was wonderful. My favorite thai restraunt so far.

Re: “Bangkok Pavilion”
Bankok Pavilion is my family's favorite Thia restarant in Kansas City (maybe me favorite restaurant period). The service is always attentive and the food is consistently superior to other Thia restaurants in the area. Their crab ragoon is better than any I've eaten anywhere in the country. Their Gang Dang curry is superior to that found at other Thia restaurants in the Kansas City metro. I recommend Bankok to everyone I know. No one is ever dissapointed when they try it!
