I LOVE CLUB SPARKS!!! I have been down there numerous of times and never had an issue with this club. I don't even live in that area and will still come down to have a friendly atmosphere. I had my birthday party there the last two years and ALL my guests love this place. Never had any problems. Had my bday bash at p & l once and lots of my quests had more fun down at sparks. The bartendars are great....the bouncers always do their job and the music is GREAT TOO. They have a pool table and tv's everywhere to watch. So If ur friendly ppl and in the area come check it out and see for your self...if your looking to bring trouble this is not the place for ya =) I would definitely come back to this is place.
I know a few people who did work at the Rick West theater and were promised to be paid but never were. He has a long list of this occuring, from wait staff to contracters who all did the work and were never paid. He always wants something for free with the promise that great things will come if they wait but he is so terrible at buisness it never does. He also is a pervert so there's that too.
Might I also add no one I know who has dealt with Rick West has any good to say about him. Local country legends and folks in Branson don't know him, and want to keep it that way.
If he was so damn talented he'd made it already instead of trying to "Get the show off the ground" for the last 5-6 years.
This is a terrible thing and should not even be considered entertainment.
This man is shady and a snake, and has no right telling other musicians how to play.
I earned a CMA award for top musicians and will never work with this man.
This club is run by two of the most arrogant and rude brothers you'd ever meet for club owners. I think they are in bread. $2.50 for a glass of water and waitresses that are slow and just out right stupid when it comes to customer service. Don't waste your time in this hole in the wall.
Worse customer service ever. Went there to eat and had terrible customer service. Only brought out 2 glasses of water for 4 of us. Never ask us if we wanted additional glasses for our 2 kids. They ended up drinking out of ours. After bringing us our food she never ask us if we wanted anything else. She brought us our check in the middle of us eating. She started clearing our table when we weren't finish eating. Feel like she wanted us out. We left her 15%(even though the service is bad) tip base on the before tax amount. My wife took one of the kids to the restroom, the waitress came to me and said "you should tip at least 15%. You so cheap." I should ask for the ticket back and wrote zero, but I was shock that she would said something "BS" like this even though she received 15%. I told my wife what happen in the car. My wife called to complain to the manager but she answer the phone and said she was the manager. My wife asked for her name and she said "Jenny". She is a middle aged lady who speak very heavy accent. Beware of her if you go there.
Love and hate this bar. the beer selection has improved, as have the beer prices - so that's a plus. The bartenders are typically good, waitresses are not. The bar is often loaded with too many drunk locals, and bartenders don't cut off very drunk people in time, they just keep serving. I've seen several fights break out here. Locals are bascially idiots. Lowbrow druggie clientele on some nights. Bathrooms were rebuilt a year or two back, which helped. Weekdays are your best bet for drink bargains, because the place is packed on weekends. It's a true dive bar with live music on weekends, karaoke during the week.
Myself, sister, and a close friend to both of us had the pleasure of dining at Carmen's in Leawood on Jan. 30. It did not disapoint. I believe 2 lobster spedini's, and a one of their special steaks, the mignon, arrived at our table. Their were smiles all around that table when we saw what we were about to eat before we experience this wonderful, well-presented cuisine, and the smiles continued throughout the meal. I feel the good experience encouraged what we usually try to have are very positive conversations with each other. The dining area was just the right size and decor promted a feeling of cozinest, with still the feeling of being surrounded by others who are enjoying a night out. This does not go without saying that our waitress was phenonimal. She was always naturally friendly, very helpful discussing our menu choices, and ecncouraging us all the way. She appeared at all the right moments, and never seemed intrusive when asking any questions. She made you feel so welcomed and confortable that you found yourself commenting on her awesome pink colored jewlry choice to go with her black attire. I would reccommend this restaurant to others, no problem. I hope new guests, and older patrons of this restaurant continue to support as I know I will also. It would be disappointing to see KC lose another good restaurant.
Awesome food, people and entertainment. Raymore/Belton area really needed this! DJ's Karaoke and Great Live Bands
Tried the Friday catfish special a couple of weeks ago and my mom had the shrimp special. Both were great -- very light breading, good crunch, nice portions, served hot, at a reasonable price. Server was very nice and checked back several times. We'll definitely go back.
Every time i go to mr lees the environment has always been CLEAN and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. I have had sushi saki pho and something else i can't even remember the name but i only remember the taste...i give my recommendations and hats off to MR.LEE...VERY NICE MAN....
They have the best burritos in the city in my opinion. And the beans and rice served are delicious. In addition, the portions are generous which never hurts anything but the waistline. I've been a loyal customer since high school and will continue to be for as long as they're open. My only complaint would be the parking. :)
Great gallery space. Every April the students display and sell their wonderful artwork.
This is the worst staffed place ever! Are bouncers allowed to beat no I take it back I mean JUMP one person! Ghetto! If u value ur life dont ever go to this place not even for one drink!
Went on a sunday at 11am... had a 10-15 minute wait for a table as they were FULL...
Wait staff is very eclectic and fun to watch and they did great job. Once seated we placed our order. Took a while to get it, but it was because they were so busy. My wife had one of the daily specials, a Denver Omelet with home fries. I had the Monty Cristo sandwich with home fries. Portions were HUGE. Food was well prepared and well seasoned. I would like to go back on a day when their regular lunch menu was being served to try it.
This place is horrible. I placed an order for beef burrito and they got it wrong and would not make the order right. Told me that I would have to repay for the order if I want it they way I originally ordered it. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE. THEY ARE RUNNING A RACKET. When have you ever heard of a restaurant messing up your order then wanting you to purchase again to make it right.
Thanks for the review, Bob Biggs....I was wondering if they were smoke-free. Since they are not, I will stay away.
Our favorite pizza on the KS side. They put SO MUCH topping on a single topping pizza, that it's our go-to. No reason to shell out more cash for a specialty. 2 medium single toppings for $18 with online coupon. Also, some hard to get toppings like meatball. Finally, they've put a bar downstairs; it feels like someone's living room, but it's really intimate for live shows.
