Re: “Unforked in Overland Park

For the money the portions are very small. When I first went I ordered a barking pig which was good but was only one taco I didn't realize that it would only be one, so I went to Taco Bell across the street afterwards. I ordered some take out later on for me and my wife and I tried a variety of different things, and we were all very disappointed. I gave them another try with their groupon and the experience was ok but still wouldn't go again unless there is a special offer or they increase the portion.

Re: “Unforked in Overland Park

Why would you order a hamburger there?

Re: “Unforked in Overland Park

Decided to take family from out of town there for lunch. It was a nightmare. They were busy so it took forever to get the food and when we did they put stuff on my husbands burger that he had specifically asked not to have. Then they tried to give it back to him by just giving him a new top bun, but with the yukky sauce still on part of the sandwich. The portion size is very small for the price on the other sandwiches. But my biggest complaint that you are EXPECTED to use the revolving door. The first time I went they even had the other doors locked from the outside. You could use them to go out, but not in. When I asked about it they said it was to save on the air conditioning. Not friendly if are a wheelchair user or have a walker or stroller. We had such a bad experience we will never go back.

Re: “Brunch at M&S Grill

No luck finding a price or menu for brunch on their web site. The pictures look like a buffet, but their site states that the brunch consists of choices from the brunch or lunch menus.

Re: “Rock and Roll Fashion Show

We need names, here. Captions. Cutlines. Words. Great photos; no idea who most of the people are.

Re: “63rd Street Flea Market

Thoroughly enjoyed this slide show. Pictures were just absolutely excellent and captured the spirit of the place. The clarity and detail were exceptional. Brandon, we were almost there.

Re: “Cowtown Ballroom: A Peek Inside

Saw Nitty Gritty open up for Black Oak there summer '72. About 25 vehicles, including myself (w/7 passengers) parked in the lost of a closed Gulf station close by. When we came out after the show, all 25 of us had 4 flat tires, the valve stems lying with the valve caps next to the tires. KCMO police sent a wrecker w/a compressor to get our tires up. It took a while, we lived in Clinton, 90 miles of bad road away, & the parents of the 4 young ladies with us had to be called. We got home at 4:30 AM. Wild night.

Re: “Life's a Cabaret at Flo's

Hopefully New Life Ministries will recognize the fallacy of their argument. Let Flo's business flourish without persecution by one individual.

Re: “Life's a Cabaret at Flo's

How does this not violate separation of church and state. Since when does a taxpayer have to get permission from a church? I would call the ACLU. I don't think a bar should be open during schools hours. But, a church leader should not be able to decide this. If he wants to he should have to get elected first.
