Re: “Best Run-in With the Missouri Highway Patrol

You think its tattoos and race. That doesn't mean that is what the officer was thinking. We've all been stopped before, but regular folks don't get a new tour bus to make them feel better.

Re: “Best Noble Experiment

THE most divisive municipal issue of 2012? Only if measured by anonymous internet comments.

Re: “Best Media Personality

Good piece on KC's favorite Welshman. I was one of the cameramen on that infamous Brownback interview and can tell you that afterwards Brownback's people were, to say the least, not too happy that Nick asked tough (but legitimate) questions.

Re: “Best Technology Expert

This article is showing good representation regarding software overviews. But do you know every steps of developing should be taken carefully by us. We are introducing eCommerce platforms Magento, prestashop and others. It allows users to enable their customers to access their eCommerce sites on mobile platforms. With Magento there is an obvious solution - Multi-Store.

Re: “Best Politician

I think Megan has done a great job of navigating small town politics and reaching good results. The fact of the matter is she has been elected twice by her constituents, and the complaints made by other posters have been vetted by the voters and found insufficient. Don't agree? Fair enough, but the results speak for themselves.

Re: “Best Politician

Perhaps if the writer of this article had done his proper homework he would see that this elected official proposed through her Master plan for that park included soccer goals exactly where they are placed. So what's the issue when we get someone else to pay for it and it doesn't come out of taxpayers pockets!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tax and Spend yep.........

Re: “Best Politician

You're kidding, right? It obviously has nothing to do with facts or research. If this is the best the metro area has to offer, God help us all.

Re: “Best Politician

Do you guys even do your research before you pick someone for this award? England has ZERO fiscal responsibilty and spends money faster than the city can make it. She once said that it is important for a city to have debt. Her direct actions have reduced the property values of residents in her ward. The school park you speak of actually cost the city over $600,000 because they didn't want to accept an offer from an autism school. Every single idea she has costs money, she has yet to present something that doesn't cost money, including wanting the park (that the soccer club is paying for to be ready for soccer) to be a dog park, where people refuse to pick up after their dogs and have their dogs running off leash. How many people can use a green space full of dog waste? As the above person commented, she has missed many meetings in person, only to call in via the phone. Maybe she is too busy in her "social network" to join the real world where people work for a living and don't have money to spend on extra things a politican wants to have. If this is the best politican, than the KC metro area is heading down a dark spiral from which we may never recover.
