Gotta love the Clarette - I would have voted it best place to blow off an afternoon of work!
Wait, the zoo has a bar? Nice! Why didn't I know about this?
I Love Zocalo!!!!!! Drink and food ROCK!
It is still shady. I went there a couple weeks ago with a friend and 3 girls. It was mostly dead, probably 6 other people in there. We're just standing around drinking off the the back side of the dance floor. All of a sudden 3 guys, much older too, swoop in and start grinding on the girls Night at the Roxbury style. After they kindly told them they weren't interested one of them actually followed one of the girls in our party INTO the bathroom. She came running out, and we left.
Fuck the Gusto. Rape bar.
Snow and Co is definitely one-of-a-kind in Kansas City. For the niche they serve, they do it well. Their drinks are high quality and priced as such, but you can't buy their creativity elsewhere. While it's not necessarily my scene, I admire their ambition (the local write-ups provide good insight) as a local start-up, and I only wish the best for Andy and his partners! They take an active stance in supporting local community organizations and non-profits in providing a fun venue for gatherings and sharing information. I wish more business owners were as supportive to the community!
They should name this Kansas City's Best Place to hear "That's Not My Name" by the Ting Tings played three times in 20 minutes.
The patio at the Union is covered and heated, no point in going without...
I really enjoy the atmosphere at Snow and Co. It is definitely a go to for me when I am in the area. Always a great way to kick off an evening if nothing else!
Sno and co is probably the worst bar I have ever ventured into. Insanely overpriced, crappy tasting drinks, horrible, horrible service, and just all around awkward and uncomfortable.
I would have to disagree with it being the best place to catch a sunset but the way it was written makes me want to go back for some reason...
Loved the generous drinks, yummy food, and fun playing pool. Way to start something good, Artie.
Wow! What a fun bar!! The 403 Club was the perfect location for an after work get together last week!! The darts, the pool, the games -- fun for all! Beer was excellent and the food delivered to our bar stools a very tasty touch! Thanks Artie for welcoming us so warmly to your great place!!
Great evening with friends and colleagues at 403 Club. The owner, Arty, is great - and the beer is terrific. The food from Felitza's was tasty as well. 403 Club is well worth a visit!
Agreed what were the other options to even vote on?
What els is there than DB Coopers?
Nice job Artie, I drive all the way from OP just to hit up the 403. Great place!
Michelle Markowitz is a gem. If you haven't been in and enjoyed the live music and "unique" crowd of characters that congregate at Davey's, then you are truely missing out on one of Kansas City's finest hang outs. Economy sucks, but you really will get a quality night of liver damage at a reasonable price at Davey's. Support the local live music scene!!!!
So everyone knows, the Geeks Who Drink pub quiz will actually be Wednesday nights, not Thursday. We began last night, and it was wildly fun... c'mon down next week, y'all! The quiz Begins at 7:30.

Re: “Best Bar You Didn't Know Existed”
It says they have no tiki drinks or fruity concoctions... but they totally have frozen margaritas! And they are soooooo good. Love going to the zoo!
