Re: “Drink

Best sports bar, Flying Saucer? They have like 3 tv's in the whole restaurant. Love the place, but is last on my mind when it comes to watching a game somewhere

Also, best Indian restaurant. Swagat never gets any love. Great atmosphere and food is delicious. Much better than Korma Sutra

Re: “Food

Best hot dog 403 Club? All they have is a rotating hot dog heater, same one you'd find at a 7/11. Love the bar but everytime I go there I cringe at the hot dogs

Re: “People & Places

And there is "Local Hottie" categories listed, but no "best theater actor". Great job, Kansas City/Pitch. Way to focus on things that matter.

Re: “Best Win

What Sean says is true. It was a thrilling and drama filled win no less, but the Pitch needs to get the facts straight.

Re: “Food

The "reader's choice" awards from the PITCH are laughable. PIZZA 51 as best Bfast place??. Foo's Custard for BEst Coffeehouse?! Get rid of these awards that allow people to vote once a day EVERY DAY. They're absurdly inaccurate.

Re: “Best Overdue Reward

THANK YOU!!!!!!!

This was such an amazing show to put together. The breadth of Thomson's music we honed down over months from hours and hours of music that helped shape the Modern Art movement, to roughly a ninety minute show.

The classical performers there were awesome,. It was their performance that gave credence to this composer's music. And having THAT as context, adding performers from completely different genres was the real kicker. To see them work and arrange these pieces, ultra classical and obscure, turning them into performances that were entertaining, beautiful, funny, raucous was what made Virgil's work universal and agued the strength of his composition as timeless.

Thank you so very much for recognizing us. The production staff, the performers KCPT and the staff at The Kauffman Center worked to their limits to make that show happen.

Re: “Best Desserts

Fig Tree has some of the best desserts and they don't give you tiny servings either. Great choice!
