The toughest bunch of fella's I have ever seen!!! Under Dogs for sure!!! There are no silver spoon feed rugby players here, just grit and determination. You have to see it to understand it!

Re: “Best Rugby Team

This best of should have received a best of!
So let me get this straight; you treat your membership like trash, cause a fracture within your club that is so deep that your club splits into two new teams, neither of which have a place to play or practice, drop divisions because you realize that you now can't compete with a club that you have claimed to be better than, and you still win a best of award? Did I miss the George W Bush winning the best of American Presidents entry?
There are more than 15 active rugby teams in Kansas City playing at all levels- men and women, boys and girls. I wonder from reading this how many were even considered.

Re: “Best Coach

Ward has almost always had strong baseball teams. Several former students, Neil Allen & David Segui immediately come to mind, have gone on to play in the majors. When you have to pay tuition and very few scholarships are given out, recruiting would seem to explain it. But as mama said above, we have a lot of great coaching and dedicated players who really put a lot of effort into their games.

Take a look at the state baseball championships going back well before Dennis Hurla came on board. It's no fluke. We just have coaches that actually get the most out of motivated talented players. -- By the way, Ward was state champions in 1983 as well... That was a team that David Segui was on. It's talent... Not recruiting.

Re: “Best Ball Kicker

He's been cheating for years!

I completely agree with Tyler. He lied to me years ago and I knew nothing of his relationship with Amy until I refused his proposal. He asked me to marry him and when I said no he went back with her because "he needed his green card". What a loser!

A year after they married he tried to get together after running into each other by getting my new number from a friend. He called me at 5:00am! I had to remind him he was married and a jerk for calling me. What an awful marriage for her to endure. He needs to take that passion, drive and commitment he practices on the field into his marriage.

Re: “Best Ball Kicker

Dino is not a man. He cheats on his wife and is a drain on his family! He is a waste of life! The good thing about him leaving his wife is that I get a chance to treat her with the respect she deserves. So thanks Dino for being a jackass!
