Re: “Best Yoga Teacher

Excuse me, but there is nothing OBSCURE in the India tradition as you disrespectfully write in this text, nor that the Indians were looking for a killing workout to begin with... The poses and the 'workout' are the LEAST important of yoga, it is about how you live and how you apply your yamas and niyamas in your daily life... how sad

Re: “Best Yoga Instructor

I agree! Dr. Sara is an awesome teacher. It is like watching a cat do yoga. She does have kind and compassionate nature and she is very knowledgeable about the anatomy and physiology of the human body. I take her classes at 7:30 AM at ARC in Riverside. It is worth getting up and trekking down there.

Re: “Best Athlete

Kimmons is also in a great documentary called "American Cage Fighter". It was supposedly shot in Kansas City and has Bas Rutten and Shamrock in it. I watched it at the Tivoli and thought it was awesome! Kimmons really made a lot of sacrifices and the documentary portrayed the life of a cage fighter really well. Re: “Best Rugby Team

Seriously, KCRFC has always been a decent rugby club on the pitch, but off the pitch, it is a waste of time to hang out with those guys. They aren't very social, and when they are, they are usually in the drunk tank. Get your facts right, check the stats before you write an article. I don't know of any time KCRFC has played a rugby game in Arrowhead Stadium, or toured to Europe, but I could be wrong. In no way, shape or form is KCRFC the best club in Kansas City. It's definately the Blues. I would never drop my team to DII if it meant easier matches and a better chance at winning. I would tell my players to put up or shut up. Isn't that what athletics are all about?

Re: “Best Rugby Team

The KC area needs as many players and teams to progress forward in the sports world. Who is the better team is always a iffy question but generally you look at overall record. With this in mind the Blues have a overwhelming record against KCRFC. The Blues do not have unlimited sponsorship but they do have a club who will work to raise monies. The KC area has changed , where soccer has become more prevalent and rugby has taken a backseat. This is sad as watching soccer is equivalent to playing solitaire with 5 advisors. Sorry KCRFC has slipped, but they are important to the health of Rugby in KC.

Re: “Best Rugby Team

This best of should have received a best of!
So let me get this straight; you treat your membership like trash, cause a fracture within your club that is so deep that your club splits into two new teams, neither of which have a place to play or practice, drop divisions because you realize that you now can't compete with a club that you have claimed to be better than, and you still win a best of award? Did I miss the George W Bush winning the best of American Presidents entry?
There are more than 15 active rugby teams in Kansas City playing at all levels- men and women, boys and girls. I wonder from reading this how many were even considered.
