I live across the river and only knew the Corner Pharmacy by its very good malts & burgers. I used a national chain for prescription fills but thought I'd give their pharmacy a try while waiting for a to-go order from their grill. I've never been back to the chain drug store.
The Corner Pharmacy is everything the Pitch review says and more. They're fast, friendly and conscientious. They try to recognize & greet customers by name. They had me down the second time I dropped off a prescription and I only go there every two months or so. On average my refills are done before my to-go order is ready.
Even the disadvantages of a small store get turned in to positives. On the one or two occasions when I had to wait in line the pharmacist himself came out and greeted us and apologized for the delay. The big chain wouldn't care if I died while waiting in thier usual 30-minute line.

What I like about Mercy Seat is no one is afraid to talk about unicorns, dragons, centaurs, wizards, hydras, etc. We all share common interest and its brought out with a good ol'-fashioned debate on mythological creatures.
When you get a tattoo at Mercy Seat, you can even put in a request for your artist to sing your favorite Sinatra hit. When they're are done singing, they usually have a grand finale of a mock battle from Robin Hood with the other artist in the shop.
The place is a real winner. Evey inch of the place is covered head to toe with cheese. how it stays fresh is a real mystery!
I recommend going on a Thursday. That's gun night. A night were you can trade a gun for a tattoo.
