Re: “The Queen of Bounce shakes on into KC

I have always had an gut feeling, when it comes to this artist.... he was so tired of believing what the worlds perception of him was, so he took all he had against all odds and made his dreams come true! I will support him until the end, because I love his ambitious life! And I love him for just being him....He is one of the most beautiful, strongest, and bravest person's I know ! Hail to the 'Queen', of Bounce, he wouldn't have it any other way!!!!

Re: “Lee Langston musters an army of local talent

I once heard someone say that Lee is lit from within. And I fully concur with this assesment. The man's heart is bigger than his talent and his talent is simply amazing.

Re: “MMF's sixth Apocalypse Meow comes on with a roar

Its tough to make music "a viable occupation" , at least in KC. Cheers to the lucky few that can actually make that happen.

Re: “The Buhs debuts with a slew of local talent

This is a ridiculously talented ensemble. Kansas City is filled with great musicians, but this is a who's who of the local jazz scene with other genres mixed in. I've been fortunate to get to know several of them and they are all great people too. Not sure there is an ounce of ego in the group.

Also, Kudos to Natalie for getting the story. For someone new in town, you have managed to get tied into the pulse of the local music scene very quickly.
