Re: “The Grisly Hand

There are seven tracks on my copy. The last one is FULL of jokes and small talk. Bet that'd change yer mind.

Re: “The Grisly Hand

"But without Lauren Krum and Jimmy Fitzner's lively stage banter to breathe DIY vitality into the set, Safe House's extended harmonies grate after a while, making the six-track album seem much longer than it actually is"

That's right! I forgot that this band is a comedy troupe rather than a talented, well-rounded band! I mean, clearly the reason why they are so good is because of all those zingers and one-liners. Way to go.

Dear Mr. Spacek,

If you would be so kind as to take a second to read how a REAL review about reggae music should be written, I'm sure it would do you a world of good.

Thank you,

The Reading Public

Re: “77 Jefferson

Not to mention the MC at the awards show made sure to preface the Reggae category by making jokes about marijuana in a trite, offensive, watered-down, and painfully embarassing version of Patois. The Pitch is comfortably slouched between tenure and pretension.

Re: “77 Jefferson

Apparently, The Pitch now knows something about Reggae. Until Richard Gintowt did an interview with my band ,Seedlove, reggae wasn't even mentioned in the magazine. Now, only one year after they gave an award to 77 Jefferson, Mr. Spacek wants to talk S@#%. Well Mr. Spacek, Bob Marley is exotic, and you show your knowledge of reggae by not being able to write a single paragraph about the genre without mentioning the man. I suggest that you get out and find out what the reggae scene in Kansas City is doing without the help of your sophomoric, at best, writing.
