Re: “Sam Brownback asking Kansas businesses to identify bureaucracy and regulation they don't want

Yes, business owner here, we need to hire undocumented workers at below minimum wage. Thanks for the tax cut and subsidies Sam. Oh, and the get-out-of-jail-free card.

Re: “Il Lazzarone is already cool. It's time for it to be great, too

Totally agree with the review, really wanted to like it but too many "buts". The one great thing was the waiter's suggestion of the glacé pizza.....best ever. The chairs are off putting even though I get it. My son kept trying to shim them!!! It was a bit of a drive from Lee's Summit but would gladly return if some things were brought up a notch. I, too, will be looking for a re-visit.

Re: “Sam Brownback asking Kansas businesses to identify bureaucracy and regulation they don't want

Both "Over the Pitch" and "Ryann" have missed an important point. He isn't asking "people" about the laws, he's asking businesses only. The people don't matter.

Re: “Dark Ages' new album comes with a goodbye

Aaron, Neal quit sometime last year. Mike, who was the original drummer, is playing bass for the final show.

Re: “Sam Brownback asking Kansas businesses to identify bureaucracy and regulation they don't want

So a lawmaker wants to know what laws people don't like so they can maybe be changed/made better.

Stop the presses Steve found a story.

The fact that the link contains "repealer-survey" should tell you something.

Re: “Kansas Democrats are seeing red, but not for the reasons you'd expect

I am a disenfranchised republican for the following reasons:

1. Current state government is corporation/lobbyist focused - people don't matter
2. There is NO dialogue - it is a dictatorship
3. I highly value education and health care for all (expand Medicaid)

Re: “Sam Brownback asking Kansas businesses to identify bureaucracy and regulation they don't want

So governmental bureaucracy and outdated regulations are good??

I prefer regulations to be up to date and to make sense to the ever changing marketplace.

Guess what, Steve - every politician does this at some point. KC proper did it not long ago.

Sammy's a full on tard but sometimes I swear the Pitch writers aren't far off.

Re: “Dark Ages' new album comes with a goodbye

Neal Dyrkacz from No Class/Inner Altar plays bass, not Mike, unless that's a very recent change.

There might be a downtown stadium by the time the company delivers the streetcars in 2050

Re: “Cleaver & Cork is more like Pork, Pork & Pork. And that's fine (and affordable)

Looks great but pricey. But then again, we don't go to P&L for budget dining, do we? I'm glad I married a rancher's daughter. Pork and beef, along with chickens, all done at the processor, smoked to perfection as far as bacon, thick chops, etc. and fresh loin roast, steaks and the rest. Raised hormone and antibiotic free.

Re: “Did the city really think its streetcars would get here on schedule?

If they ever get here, how long do you think the tracks will stay in place? When you look at the heave that they are already showing, the first snow plows will tear them out of the pavement. This is a plan that needs to follow a cold city model instead of warm weather plan. I am so happy that the Spanish model they are following works so well in that climate, but the winter around here will show that the elevated model would have been a better use of our funds.

Seriously though, I really love their breakfast burritos. Wife and I hit the NKC spot on our Tuesday trips to Harrahs.
