Yeah that's true, the cameras were found in her apartment, but he did close all of his shops pretty fast - maybe to remove cameras or other evidence. Just sayin.............

Re: “A creepy discovery shakes up the local tattoo community

on pitch it say the cams was upstairs in a apartment attached to downstairs( The Shop)so basically it was at the shop. And they found different wires that was not connected (we're was those cams when they was in use?)not in the basement!!!So with that being said ain't no telling if he had them in the bathrooms down in the shop or in each booth .Personally I will never return,no matter who take over ownership. If u have a business and u doing stuff like that ,what else are u doing? Is he reusing needles,is he a rapist, who else is involved (15 years somebody knew about it or was involved)To the employees as a business owner myself I can tell you it will mess your name up as well,if I interviewed someone who came from a company that did a Big crime like this business I would skip your app sorry(get a way from that shop for your business in the further and your reputation)don't matter who did the crime from this day on if someone say freaks ,this will cross your mind. They need to rename it and sell it to someone that has no connection to freaks for anyone with Common sense to go back and do business.people read the whole report before u make a comment or call someone a name..smh

Re: “A creepy discovery shakes up the local tattoo community

I believe that what the owner did doesn't reflect anything on the tattoo artists or piercers...you'll need not be ashamed. I've been pushing for and i've gotten pierced and tattooed by FREAKS ON BROADWAY several times and I will fight for you guys until the bitter end. Your boss may be scum but you guys are truly amazing! Keep it pushing and I will DEFINITELY be back for more ink!

It's a shame that one a$%hole can dirty the whole pot. Freaks has been a staple and launching pad for local artistic talent.

I worked a special crimes unit in a different state years past and can say for a fact that this type of sickness is going on far more than most people realize....
