Re: “Our local sports stars have one thing in common: the inability to run a business

In the defense of the athletes who owned restaurants, with the exception of Jared Allen, owning and operating restaurants is a hit and miss anyway. For Goerge Bretts to last 5 years is longer than the average. Also why don't you do an article on what has been successful businesses and investment decisions for some athletes. If the non-athlete had the resources to take these chances they would do the same thing. We just have to watch our pennies a little closer.

Re: “Good Samaritans and a helping of luck kept this guy from trouble for losing his ring among the recycling

Yeah, that was way out of order and made no sense. What a retard.

Re: “Mall Abuse

Thats a bunch of crap for sure. Joe and his animal friends are visiting us at the mall right now, and let me tell you, those animals are treated great. So what if they sit in cages for a while, everything but the tiger is babies anyways. All the staff play and socialize with the animals and you can tell they genuinely care about them. And by the way i just watched that tiger eat some chicken, so cool! And now hes taking a snooze.

Re: “Flowers are blooming, fountains are flowing and the Kansas City air is — sweet Jesus, what is that smell?

If Air Quality is a concern, then why don't we do something about it? I have a better idea why doesn't the Pitch run an article on how Kansas City and the surrounding areas can go "green." Chicago (have you ever heard of it?) is going green but we can't even get our minds wrapped around a light rail system. How does the Pitch feel about light rail? Hey Pitch why don't you give us an environmental article with some meat and not fluff.

Drive by Bayer Chemical on I-435, nothing you have commented on comes close in smell factor.

Re: “Downtown Kansas City says goodbye to Totally Nude

Hahaha, I loved those. I guess if they really wanted to make some money, they'd auction off the Totally Nude sign. I'd love to have that in MY house.
