Re: “Music Forecast 12.11-12.17: Sean Rowe, Big Band Christmas, Knuckleheads Annual Christmas Show, and more

Dolls on Fire is worth checking out. Surprised there's no mention of Third Party's pre-hiatus show at RecordBar on the 17th. Joplin, MO has given us some amazing music recently.

Bummed I'm going to be out of town for Jenny Lewis. Would love to see her in concert.

Thanks Natalie! We are actually Midwest Music Foundation. Mutual Musicians Foundation is another great organization and I know our names are easily and often confused. For more info on event: www.apocalypsemeow.net or midwestmusicfound.org

Re: “Music Forecast 7.3-7.9: Sarah McLachlan, Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss, Zepparella, the Black Lillies, and more

Jason Isbell is going to be with Willie and Alison Krauss. Saw him in St Louis earlier this year and he put on a wonderful show.

Re: “Music Forecast 6.12-6.18: PorchFest KC, Logic, Lauryn Hill, Trombone Shorty, Allah-Las, Jackie Greene, and more

Nice. The porchfest is going to be awesome. I live in the neighborhood, and it's a welcome offering (especially opposed to the beer/drunk fest that is going on this weekend in KC). I don't know where the curmudgeonly posters are getting their info as I've heard nothing but great things. Should be a ton of fun!

West Plaza is going down the tubes anyway may as well finish the job. Bring in a few more interlopers and your on the way.

Hopefully the first and last PorchFest in our neighborhood. One thing it's been successful at is pissing off a lot of residents. Enjoy!

Re: “Music Forecast 3.6-3.12: Diane Birch, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Dr. Dog, and more

@Bobo We featured a long Q&A with Valerie June (opening for Sharon Jones) in print this week. Generally, we don't give space to the same event twice.
