I agree. Pitch movie reviewers, perhaps because of their Midwestern-sized inferiority complexes, must feel that to compete with real movie reviewers on the coasts (or, in Chicago), they need to be insulting even to high-quality cinema, and use a lot of empty, esoteric-sounding descriptives that only impress other Pitch reviewers, I suspect. Their reviews have become as useless as that George Clooney remake of 'Solaris' several years back.
