Stupid is NEVER an excuse for anything. In my day, films like this one (of the Bowery Boys "genre") would hardly ever light up the screens of any first-run theater. Just a sign of our cultural descent. Ugly, ugly, ugly and not to forget, juvenile and STUPID
I can not agree more. I'm speechless... How do you go over the top in an Indiana Jones movie? I wish I could put it into words how disappointed I am with this movie. I wanted so bad for it to take me back to my childhood, maybe I'm just jaded, but that still doesn't forgive this film. I wonder what the die hard fans think. I feel so sorry for them.

So what if this movie has no REAL blood spilled anywhere, Indy's son acts like James Dean with a wig, the lines are corny, the plot is mostly an "x-files" rip off, Cate Blanchett's face looks painted on, and Indy seems about 80 years old....until he takes his shirt off....or maybe that chest is computer generated too??
It is an enjoyable romp back to the 1950s....when movies were FUN and no one was supremely dysfunctional or expected to be realistic. The suburb set up for the atomic blast was GREAT and so was the solution to Indy's survival.
Kids will love this movie!! Oldtimers like me are happy to see a movie that doesn't require a book club discussion to understand or spill realistic "blood and guts" all over the screen. Everyone knows that most movies are all special effects and are used to it!
Relax and enjoy the show! Sunshines!!

Wow, this may be the most pretentious movie review I have ever read. Why don't you try to write for your audience instead of showing off your vocabulary and knowledge of pop art and architecture? This isn't a college essay.

This is a lousy review by Ella Taylor on the film "In Bruges"..
She has tunnel vision, and misses the whole point/tone of
this wonderful film..
A movie critic, you are not... Better Stick With Your Other
'Day-Time Job"...

The Kansas City based non-profit Independent Filmmakers Coalition co-sponsored Lloyd Kaufman's KIFF appearance. IFC participation in the KIFF added a grindhouse style movie trailer competition with entries judged by Kaufman. Those entries will be screened 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 18th with the Troma founder presenting awards to the winning films. KIFF filmmakers and attendees are all invited to attend the IFC sponsored post screening reception outside the Glenwood Arts Theater to meet and mingle with Kaufman.

Was this a review of Bourne: Ultimatum or United 93? Talk about having an agenda....

I thought the movie was slightly dull. I actually disagree - I thought "Azkaban" was one of the best of the movies - it was visually stunning and very action-packed. I enjoyed the "dark" mood created by a wonderful director. Bring him back!

I thought that the movie wasnt tht good. For someone that read the book when it first came out the point of thw movie was confusing and not the much fun to sit through. I personaly, wish that I wouldnt have wasted my money on the hopes jsut to see harry break down by having voldermort take over him.
