I love it how anyone who sits back to judge the movie rather than enjoy it tends to forget what superman is. It's a movie based on a COMIC BOOK franchise not an academy award forerunner. This movie WAS the epitome of what a comic book movie should be. There was no reason to "kneel before Zod," because Zod was krypton's warrior, a defender of sorts. He was not some power hungry dictator.

Man of steel 8 of out 10.
