As if 3 movies that were 3 hours of walking through a forest weren't enough they now need 3 more movies 3 hours long of walking through a forest.
No wonder I never go to movies anymore.
Sorry...just couldn't get past "Josh" being cast in a lead roll. Really???? There was no one else available? The rest of the movie was one let down after the other. Yes I also cut my teeth on the original Red Dawn and am a huge fan. However, my kids have also seen the original, and all agreed....don't go if you are expecting anything even half as good.
so far so good; keep writing.
At least a Soviet invasion was plausible. This is just feeding off the fear of The Other.
Does anyone else see the irony in Chris Hemsworth's character playing an Iraq veteran? Foreign invaders have taken over our land and we must fight back? Why does that sound familiar?
The bits that stick with me are how the devout Christian co-pilot did not spout the expected "I will walk again, I will fly again" hopefulness despite his faith, and, how everyone from the FAA to the airline owner worked to be sure that the alcoholic had an out. He didn't have to admit that he was a drunk, he could have kept his mouth shut and kept the status quo. That was what I got out of this script - the idea that the establishment had a stake in keeping the wasted lifestyle of their employees quiet.
The Denby review the author denigrates is a better take on the film, Allen, and Italia.
This clown is clearly more interested in throwing a pity parade for his embattled ego than honestly writing about the subject.
I would suggest Scott Wilson retire, but who would really care?
find out more about real Scarlett by typing Scarlett Johansson clone in Google search bar and you would see much more then in The Island movie..

I just saw the movie and thought it was really good! I think that all of us romanticize the ideas of living in a different time period because it somehow seems like it would have been a better one for you, Owen Wilson's character gets a chance to find this out in "Midnight in Paris"!
all u people do is bitch bitch bitch
Does anyone know if this is coming to kc?
Hi Lydia, it opens Friday at the Plaza Cinemark and the Rio in Old Overland Park. It's really wonderful, still lingering in my mind a week later. Hope you enjoy it!
So do we know if or when this version of Jane Eyre will play in KC.
Battle Los Angeles: Big Brother's Latest Big Budget Brainwasher
Last Saturday we used a gift card to go and see the new "Battle: Los Angeles" flick, a psyops collaboration between Pentagon war profiteers and TinselTown CGI geeks in which a Few Good Men accompanied by a couple of forgettable kids and has-been hotties Hoo-Rah their way from product placement to product placement in what is no doubt the first installment of a perpetual war for our planet's most precious resource (in this script water, not oil). Aside from making millions for Hollywood movie moguls, the purpose of this propaganda piece is to reverse the American military's real-world role as a resource aggressor and, during the suspension of disbelief, imprint on the minds of the audience that sacrificing our sons and daughters if not ourselves in an endless and ever-expanding war for riches and resource control is both honorable and a patriotic obligation.
Black Hand Strawman
”Anyone know about music used on the opening for the video with the drum solo? I love it. Bud
Re: “This Is 40: Judd Apatow's midlife boner”
Brilliantly eviscerated, and well-deserved.
