Agree with Ben.

It's really impossible to find an authentic cheesesteak sandwich in KC except for the one place in KC that's know for making authentic cheesesteaks sandwiches with cheese whiz and Amoroso Rolls. Grinders.

Decent sushi? Kokoro Maki is the best most affordable sushi in the stretch from Waldo to downtown. My personal opinion.

Hi Charles! Delighted Kokoro is getting the shout out it deserves. But I miscounted — there's also Korea House at 888 Market. It's really just a lunch stand in the very large Asian supermarket but their food (especially stews) is solid and they make their own kimchi and banchan, which they also sell.
